Mohamed Sanu has firmly established himself as the Atlanta Falcons’ No. 2 receiver next to Julio Jones. His production isn’t always consistent, but at his best, Sanu is a reliable playmaker in critical situations.
Fantasy football Week 13: Mohamed Sanu, start or sit?
Sanu continues to be hit-or-miss as the Falcons’ No. 2 receiver. We break down the fantasy implications.

Sanu had one of his best games of the season in Week 12, catching eight passes for 64 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He even contributed in the passing game, tossing a touchdown pass out of the Wildcat formation. In ten games, Sanu is up to 45 catches for 452 yards, and four touchdowns.
Fantasy impact: The high reception number is encouraging for PPR owners, but Sanu remains a low-floor receiver whose value is dependent on touchdown catches, rendering him a boom-or-bust WR4.
This week, the Falcons take on the Minnesota Vikings, whose defense is giving up the 19th-most fantasy points to wide receivers. There’s a chance Sanu sees more targets his way if Xavier Rhodes ends up shadowing Jones, but he still carries both the risk and reward we’ve come to expect from this year. Adjust your expectations accordingly.
Recommendation: Start if you’re desperate
