The Detroit Lions were holding their breath when starting quarterback Matthew Stafford tweaked a chronic ankle injury in the fourth quarter of last Thursday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Stafford did not have to leave the contest, but he was visibly limited after his right leg was rolled on by a lineman. The nine-year QB was still able to extend his scoring streak to four games. Stafford completed 20 of 35 passes for 250 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. He also lost a fumble in the outing.
Fantasy football Week 13: Start or sit Matthew Stafford
Stafford is good to play after an injury scare in Week 12. We break down the fantasy implications for Sunday.

Stafford had nine days to heal his ankle before facing a really strong Baltimore Ravens defense. The Ravens are ferocious against the pass. They have given up the second-fewest yards and third-fewest touchdowns in the air so far this season. The Ravens also have the most interceptions in the league.
Fantasy impact: Stafford could see his touchdown streak end against the Ravens Sunday. That is not to say he will not score, but multiple scores against Baltimore’s defense will be a tough order. Stafford may see a down day again, especially if his ankle is still giving him problems. He is a top-10 QB regardless and he will have a strong fantasy showing in Week 13 despite the difficult matchup.
