Tevin Coleman had a quiet return to the field for the Atlanta Falcons after missing a game with a concussion. He rushed six times for 12 yards and caught four passes for 40 yards and a touchdown in the loss to the New Orleans Saints. Coleman only had three fewer touches and four fewer yards than starter Devonta Freeman. He has at least nine touches and at least 32 total yards in his last three games.
Fantasy football start/sit Week 17: What to do with Tevin Coleman
Coleman salvaged a poor performance with a late touchdown. We look at the fantasy implications for a must-win game versus the Panthers Sunday.

The Falcons will need a bigger effort from all of their skill players in a must-win game versus the Carolina Panthers Sunday. Coleman was quiet in the first meeting against the Panthers, rushing five times for five yards and catching a 19-yard touchdown pass. The Panthers have been tough on running backs all season. They allow they fourth-fewest yards rushing and sixth-fewest yards receiving to the position in the league. Coleman’s touchdown in Week 9 is the only receiving touchdown the Panthers have given up to a running back this season.
Fantasy impact: Coleman and Freeman struggled in Week 16. They are likely to do the same again Sunday. Coleman gets more of the pass-catching duties in the Falcons backfield. He has a slightly better matchup, but he is still in for a rough game. Coleman does not have enough upside to get a start this week.
