Russell Wilson carried the Seattle Seahawks to a win in an ugly game against the Dallas Cowboys Sunday. Wilson completed 14 passes on 21 attempts for a season-low 93 yards and two touchdowns in Week 16. He also rushed nine times 29 yards in the contest. It was by far the worst output of the season for the sixth-year quarterback, but he did not commit a turnover in the critical win that kept the Seahawks’ playoff hopes alive.
Fantasy football start/sit Week 17: What to do with Russell Wilson
Wilson will have to carry the Seahawks’ offense to another win to have a chance at the playoffs. We look at the fantasy impact.

Now the Seahawks need one more win in Week 17 and help from the Carolina Panthers to claim the final NFC wild card spot. They also need a much better game from Wilson against the Arizona Cardinals. The Cardinals have stifled QBs the last three games. They have been average against the position all season, but they are vulnerable to mobile QBs, giving up the most rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks this season. Wilson had a solid game against the Cardinals in Week 10, throwing for 238 yards and two touchdowns with five rushes for 19 yards in the Seahawks’ win.
Fantasy impact: Wilson can have a bad game and still produce in fantasy. He has the second-most passing touchdowns in the league. He is also a top-10 QB in attempts, completions, and yards. The Seahawks have to win to get into the playoffs. They will pull out all of their weapons Sunday. The Cardinals can try to corral Wilson in Week 17, but that will be difficult to do with so much on the line. Wilson is a must-start for the final game of the season.
