Fantasy impact: Fantasy football teams are beginning their playoffs this week, and any Gronk owners without a first-round bye have some decisions to make. Dwayne Allen is the most likely beneficiary on the Patriots roster, with Jacob Hollister also likely to see a little bit of playing time.
Allen is not a great option, with the Patriots likely to focus more on their receivers and running backs in the passing game. Looking at Yahoo! ownership percentages, some intriguing options include Cameron Brate (55 percent), David Njoku (5 percent), Julius Thomas (32 percent), and Eric Ebron (30 percent). Njoku might be the best upside option of that group.
