The Pittsburgh Steelers got something special in their 62nd pick in the 2017 draft. Slot receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster led the rookie class in receiving with 917 yards on 58 grabs in 14 games. He also had seven touchdowns, just two fewer than Antonio Brown and Le’Veon Bell, who both finished the season with nine scores apiece.
How will JuJu Smith-Schuster build on his phenomenal rookie season?
Smith-Schuster makes the Steelers offense even more potent in 2018.

Smith-Schuster had quite a few hurdles to overcome in his rookie campaign. He was sidelined one game with a hamstring injury and suffered a couple of concussions throughout the year. The second-rounder was also the center of a controversy with teammate Martavis Bryant, and served a suspension in Week 14 for illegally hitting and taunting Cincinnati Bengals DB Vontaze Burfict.
Looking ahead to 2018
The sky is the limit for Smith-Schuster in 2018. He has already worked his way from the backup slot receiver to No. 2 on the depth chart behind Brown in his first season. Smith-Schuster will just look to build on his great rookie year. He can use his snub for the Rookie of the Year nomination as motivation.
Fantasy Slant
Smith-Schuster is going to be one of the first 10 receivers to come off the board in 2018. He caught close to 1,000 yards in an offense that features the best wide receiver and running back in the league. Smith-Schuster is a gem across all leagues.
