One of the most overlooked wide receivers in the 2017 draft class is undrafted Jacksonville Jaguars rookie Keelan Cole. Cole ranked third among first-year receivers in yards while leading the Jaguars’ receiving corps in receiving yards. He finished the season with 42 receptions for 748 yards and three touchdowns. Cole also caught three passes for 82 yards in the playoffs.
Keelan Cole set for bigger fantasy role as he climbs depth chart
The Jaguars’ undrafted rookie should get a big promotion in the passing game next season.

The season started slowly for Cole. He quickly moved up the depth chart after Allen Hurns went down in Week 10. He gained 505 yards on 25 catches in Hurns’ six-week absence as the Jaguars’ third receiver.
Looking ahead to 2018
Next season is going to be interesting for the former Kentucky Wesleyan deep threat. He should move up the depth chart based on his outstanding performance late in the season, and the Jaguars’ top two receivers — Hurns and Marqise Lee — will be free agents this summer as well. Cole could be a top receiver for the Jaguars next season along with fellow rookie receiver Dede Westbrook.
Fantasy Slant
A lot of eyes will be on Cole in the 2018 draft. His big-play ability is special, but he lacked consistency this season. If the Jaguars part ways with Hurns and Lee, Cole’s stock will be pretty high — he could come off draft boards as high as the fourth or fifth round next season. Cole will be a steal if he falls anywhere beyond the 10th round.
