There was one thing noticeably missing from Corey Davis’ rookie campaign — a touchdown. Davis started the year battling a hamstring injury in camp and missed five games in the early part of the season as a result. He returned to the field in Week 9 and was healthy since. Davis was pretty quiet in the Tennessee Titans’ passing game this season. He did show off his capabilities in Week 16 vs. the Los Angeles Rams, catching six passes for 91 yards.

The Titans’ top pick in the 2017 draft was unable to score. He hopes to turn things around in his sophomore campaign.
Davis was a part of a crowded Titans receiving corp that included Rishard Matthews, Eric Decker, and tight end Delanie Walker. The fifth-overall pick was targeted 65 times this season. He had seven games with five or more targets. However, he only had two games with more than five catches. He finished the season with 34 receptions for 375 yards.
Looking ahead to 2018
Davis has a bright future next season now that his hamstring problem looks to be completely behind him. The Titans are looking to balance out their running game with an equally potent passing game. Davis will be a big factor in making that happen. He should have a lot more targets and receptions in 2018 and he will break his touchdown drought next year as well.
Fantasy slant
Davis was a let down until the end of the season. There will not be a lot of owners vying to draft him next year. Regardless, he still has lots of talent. He will be a good pickup in the later rounds of the 2018 draft. Davis has great sleeper potential next season.
