The Chicago Bears made a big move to start repairing their broken receiving corps Tuesday by signing former Jacksonville Jaguars deep threat Allen Robinson.
Bears get quality fantasy talent with Allen Robinson
The Bears signed the fourth-year wide receiver to a three-year, $42 million dollar contract Tuesday. We break down the fantasy impact.

Robinson signed a three-year, $42 million deal with the Bears after the Jaguars decided not to franchise tag the star wideout. The fourth-year veteran will play an important role in figuring out the Bears’ offensive game. He is expected to be a big target for sophomore quarterback Mitchell Trubisky and should work well in a Matt Nagy system.
Robinson brings a lot of talent to any passing game. He went to the Pro Bowl in 2015 after he caught 80 passes for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns. The 24-year-old also led the Jaguars in all receiving categories in back-to-back seasons before getting hurt. Robinson missed the 2017 season after tearing his ACL in Week 1 against the Houston Texans.
Fantasy impact: Robinson is going to make himself instantly known in Chicago and he could make a big splash in fantasy this season as well. He is a legitimate No. 1 receiver for Trubisky and should see a ton of targets in Nagy’s offense. Robinson should be high on owners’ radars this draft. He will start coming off boards around the fourth round. If he can click with his young QB and stay healthy, Robinson has the potential to make another push for the Pro Bowl in 2018.
