The Buffalo Bills have a lot of holes to fill on their offense this offseason. On March 6, they brought in some insurance to the running game. The Bills signed former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Chris Ivory to a two-year, $5.5 million deal to back up LeSean McCoy.
Chris Ivory gives Bills fantasy insurance
Buffalo made a deal with the former Jacksonville Jaguar rusher for two-years and $5.5 Million to back up LeSean McCoy. We break down the fantasy impact.

Ivory struggled his two seasons with the Jaguars. He only ran for 821 yards and four touchdowns in his tenure there. Prior to that, he was a Pro Bowler with the New York Jets in 2015. He rushed for 1,070 yards and seven touchdowns that year.
Fantasy impact: Ivory is going to take a backseat to McCoy all season. That limits his fantasy ceiling. He complements McCoy’s running style by being a physical north-and-south rusher, however. Ivory’s fantasy owners should get the most value from his goal-line touches. He will likely be available on waiver wires in most leagues after the draft. Keep an eye on his usage as Ivory could turn into a sleeper later in the season.
