The Jacksonville Jaguars lost arguably one of the best wide receivers in the NFL when Allen Robinson left for the Chicago Bears in free agency last week. Monday, the Jaguars attempted to get some of that receiving power back by signing former Indianapolis Colts wideout Donte Moncrief. The 25-year-old joins a crowded receiving corps that includes Marqise Lee, Dede Westbrook, Allen Hurns, and Keelan Cole.
Jaguars hope Donte Moncrief can reach full fantasy potential in 2018
The Jaguars gave the former Indianapolis Colts wideout a fully guaranteed one-year, $9.6 million contract Monday. We break down the fantasy impact.

Moncrief is coming off back-to-back disappointing seasons. He had 56 receptions for 698 yards and nine touchdowns in the last two years. The deep threat also battled a litany of injuries the past two seasons. He only played in 21 games since 2015.
Fantasy impact: This is an amazing deal for Moncrief considering his recent struggles. The Jaguars are going to give him a year to prove he is worth it. Still, they have hopes in his abilities to guarantee almost $10 million to a player who severally underperformed the past two seasons. Moncrief could turn things around in Jacksonville. It will not be easy, however. The Jaguars have a lot of depth at receiver. Owners may want to wait to see if Moncrief can step up in Jacksonville. He has a lot to prove to get on fantasy radars at this point.
