The Indianapolis Colts are undergoing a lot of changes to their offense. Monday, the Colts made a deal with former Detroit Lions big man Eric Ebron to join Pro Bowl tight end Jack Doyle in the Colts’ passing game. New Colts head coach Frank Reich and offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni run offenses that have a two tight end set.
Eric Ebron will be another big fantasy target for the Colts
The former Detroit Lions big man signed a two-year deal with the Colts worth $15 million. We break down the fantasy impact.

Ebron was a nightmare matchup for defenses in Detroit. However, the former 10th overall pick never seemed to reach his full potential with the Lions. He had a high number of drops and battled injuries during his tenure. Still, Ebron managed 186 receptions for 2,070 yards and 11 touchdowns in his four years with the team.
Fantasy impact: This move is not that surprising. Unfortunately, this does not help Ebron’s fantasy stock. Doyle should remain the TE1 and Ebron will be used to exploit situations. The soon to be 25-year-old should see a decent amount of looks, especially in the red zone. He will be a touchdown-or-bust TE though. It is also unlikely he will get more scores than Doyle.
