Romeo Doubs start or sit: Week 2 fantasy football advice
We break down the fantasy football outlook of Romeo Doubs ahead of Week 2

The Packers’ 2025 campaign got off to a roaring start with the team mostly dominating the Lions in a 27-13 victory last Sunday. Contributing to that victory was wide receiver Romeo Doubs, who made an impact the very few times he touched the ball in Week 1.
Below, we’ll go over Doubs’ outlook in fantasy football for Week 2.
Fantasy Football analysis: Packers WR Romeo Doubs
Doubs made the most out of his two receptions in the Sunday, taking them for 68 yards in the winning effort for the Packers. His 48-yard catch in the second-quarter was the longest reception of his career and immediately set up Jordan Love’s 17-yard touchdown pass to Jayden Reed on the very next play. His yards per catch numbers have improved through each of his first three seasons in the league and we’ll see if that catch is an indicator of him becoming a deep-ball threat this year.
As for the Thursday night showdown against Washington, it’s always a tricky proposition when considering skill position players on a short week. Doubs certainly showed off his explosiveness in Week 1, but it wasn’t enough to crack the top 30 of WR fantasy performers in any scoring format. The Commanders were sixth in defensive passing EPA in the opening week, so this Thursday nighter could very well end up being a slog. I’d say pass on Doubs for Week 2.
