Tiger Woods’ continues to struggle during the second round of the 2013 PGA Championship. He hasn’t putted well on Friday and that trend continued at No. 14.
2013 PGA Championship: 3-putt par leaves Tiger Woods at 1-over
After driving the green on No. 14, Tiger Woods had a prime opportunity to get at least a stroke back. A 3-putt later and Woods is still 1-over.
Woods pulled out his driver for just the second time in the round and drilled his tee shot onto the green of the 323-yard Par 4. Woods had a long eagle putt and gave it an aggressive effort, running the putt five feet beyond the hole. From there, he had just a short putt left to gain a stroke and get back to even for the tournament.
His birdie putt, however, caught the left lip and kicked out. Woods read the putt as outside edge, but it appeared to roll straight with no break.
He finished off the three-putt par and remains at 1-over. With Woods missing out on birdie opportunities and Jason Dufner setting a Oak Hill course record by shooting a 63, Woods is now 10 shots off the lead.
