The Players Championship 2015 live stream: How to watch Tiger Woods’ Round 4 online

A densely packed leaderboard could set up an exciting finish at the Players Championship on Sunday.

Those hoping to see a big-name player continue his run of dominance at the Players Championship on Sunday may be out of luck. Golf’s best are all several strokes out of contention at TPC Sawgrass through 54 holes. Those simply hoping for a fun finish, however, should make sure to tune in.

Thirty players are within five shots of leader Chris Kirk heading into the final day, breaking the tournament record of 20 set in 1982. Kirk will have to work hard to fend off competitors gunning for his lead, but the Georgia product is well-suited for the Bermuda grass. He made three straight birdies late in the day to break what was then a six-way tie for first place.

NBC will not be picking up the action on television until 2 p.m. ET, which means fans will have to tune in online to watch golf before then. As it has the last three days, PGATour.com will have its cameras trained on two featured groups, one in the a.m. and another in the p.m.

The morning group is Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson, two household names performing well below lofty standards this weekend. Woods had an ugly outing Saturday, shooting 75. He double-bogeyed two par-5s in the same round for the first time in his career, breaking a 1,115-round streak. His drive on No. 2 landed short of the ladies’ tees.

The afternoon group will be Bubba Watson and Adam Scott, who both sit four strokes back of Kirk at 6-under through three rounds. The pair are among the only four members of the World Golf Rankings top 10 within shouting distance of Kirk. World No. 1 Rory McIlroy joins Watson and Scott in their nine-way tie for 17th on the leaderboard. No. 10 Sergio Garcia made a big leap up the standings Saturday to land in a tie for fifth place, two strokes back of Kirk at 8-under.
