Rickie Fowler ignites playoff crowd by stuffing it close at TPC Sawgrass island hole

The well-hydrated crowd is definitely pulling for Rickie.

The three-man playoff at The Players Championship definitely has a fan-favorite, and Rickie Fowler ignited the massive Stadium Course crowd at the island hole with this dart into the island green.

This is what he encountered on his way up to the green:

Fowler would drill the putt for his fourth birdie this week alone at that famous par-3. Kevin Kisner, however, would match him and they go to the 18th all square in this three-hole aggregate playoff.
