Legendary Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher was diagnosed with “head trauma with coma” following a cerebral hemorrhage after falling on a rock during a skiing trip on Sunday in the French Alps.
IndyCar drivers send tweets of support for Michael Schumacher
While Michael Schumacher never competed in the IndyCar Series, the close-knit open-wheel community is banding together with Indy drivers sending the seven-time world champion their support.
While Schumacher never competed in the American IndyCar Series, many of the league’s competitors made their names in the Formula 1 ladder system and grew up with an admiration of the successful German.
A few of those drivers sent out tweets of support Sunday night while awaiting further updates. The most common hashtag used across social media channels has been #PrayForSchumi.
Thoughts are with Michael Schumacher and his family. Hard for me to accept as I always believe that he was invincible.
