Crowd at ‘Book of Mormon’ show breaks into Seahawks chant after stunning victory

While the Minnesota Vikings were driving down to set up a potential game-winning 27-yard field goal, hundreds of people in Seattle had taken their seats for a “Book of Mormon” afternoon show. As the show was about to start, the crowd got very excited and broke into cheers, but it wasn’t for what was about to be on stage.

According to the person who uploaded the video, the theater had just announced a 30-second to show warning and asked the crowd to put away their cell phones. Obviously, no one did that and instead they all followed along as Blair Walsh shanked the 27-yard attempt and the Seahawks escaped with a 10-9 win.

Chants of “Sea-Hawks!” broke out soon after.

The Seahawks once again play in the early game, so spectators may want to avoid the Sunday matinee this week so they can be sure they don’t miss a wild finish.
