This 2014 tweet predicted the World Series exactly and people are preparing for the apocalypse

One year, 364 days. That’s how long it took for this incredible World Series prediction to come through. The seemingly miraculous Twitter prediction isn’t new, but normally we see it from some never-used account that is kept private and meticulously stocked with every possible permutation — only to be made public and get attention at a later date.

That’s not the case for @RaysFanGio. He uses his account all the time — this was a one-off prediction and we should all be scared.

The thing that makes this prediction beautiful is that this wasn’t just about the Cubs and a tied ninth inning. That would be passé. Gio nailed everything that has happened and we should all be afraid.
