Cubs World Series parade route and map: Celebration rally culminates in Grant Park
Parade officially starts at noon ET.

Chicago Cubs fans have been celebrating their team’s World Series win pretty much nonstop since the World Series ended on Wednesday night, but the official championship parade for Chicago begins on Friday at Wrigley Field.
The parade doesn’t fully begin until noon ET (11 a.m. CT), but the route begins at 11 a.m. at Wrigley Field, from Addison Street and Sheffield Avenue to Pine Grove.
After leaving Wrigley Field, the parade route in downtown Chicago starts at noon, with the following route:
- South along Michigan Avenue, between Oak and Ohio streets
- South down Columbus Drive, between Monroe Street and Balbo Avenue
The route ends at Grant Park, where the celebration rally will be held at 1 p.m., at Lower Hutchison Field.
MLB Network will televise the parade, with online coverage available on MLB.com. In addition, ESPN will show the parade during SportsCenter on Friday.
Here’s the map, times CT:
“The City of Chicago could not be more proud of the Cubs, and we are going to throw them — and their fans — a celebration worthy of the history the team made last night,” Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel said in a press release on Thursday.
