Cubs parade 2016: Start time and live TV schedule for Chicago’s World Series victory celebration

The Chicago Cubs returned home as conquering heroes on Thursday after winning their first World Series in 108 years, and the club will be celebrated with a parade through the streets of Chicago on Friday.
“The City of Chicago could not be more proud of the Cubs, and we are going to throw them — and their fans — a celebration worthy of the history the team made last night,” Mayor Rahm Emanuel said on Thursday. “2016 is the year for the Cubs and the generations of fans who have been waiting to the fly the World Series W. Go Cubs go!”
The parade starts officially at noon ET (11 a.m. CT), runs through the streets of downtown Chicago, and culminates with a celebration in Grant Park at 1 p.m.
Coverage of the parade will be broadcast nationally on both MLB Network and during SportsCenter on ESPN, and online on MLB.com. Local coverage begins at 9 a.m. CT on CSN Chicago.
