Bill Murray conducting interviews and getting champagne showers was everything we’ve ever wanted

Bill Murray waited a long time to watch the Chicago Cubs win the World Series and now he’s soaking up every second of the celebration.

He started out cheering in the stands like a normal fan.

Then he ended up on the field, honking the horn of Ben Zobrist’s car for winning MVP.

Shortly after that, Murray found his way to the locker room, where he was able to celebrate with some of the players.

At some point, Murray ended up with a microphone and decided he might as well conduct some postgame interviews. That’s what you do if you’re Bill Murray and you’re celebrating the Chicago freaking Cubs winning the World Series.

The Cubs deserved a special kind of celebration for breaking the 108-year drought. Bill Murray is the hero they deserved.
