In the top of the fourth inning on Friday night, the Phillies managed to break through against Braves starter Brandon Beachy to tie the game at one. With runners on first and second, Raul Ibanez singled to bring home Ryan Howard.

Two batters later, Carlos Ruiz smacked a two-out single to score a second run, and the Phillies took a 2-1 lead.
Beachy, who is making his third career major league start, has demonstrated great movement on his pitches at times, but through only four full innings, he’s already at 72 pitches. He’s surrendered six hits and struck out four.
