Francisco Liriano’s Exit From Twins-Tigers Game Reportedly Due To Illness

Minutes after Twins pitcher Francisco Liriano left Friday night’s game, the team is saying that the team pulled him because of an illness. From the Star Tribune’s Joe Christenson:

say Liriano removed because of non-baseball related illness. He's been sick

Interestingly, the Twins’ Alexi Casilla is out of the game for the same reason. Assuming the illness isn’t serious, it’s good news for Twins fans that an injury wasn’t sustained, as the team will be in the postseason within two weeks.
