TUF 13 Finale Results: Ed Herman Runs Through Tim Credeur In Less Than One Round

ROUND 1 - Left hook from Herman and both fighters stand orthodox. Right hand glances for Credeur. Herman drops Credeur to the mat with a punishing right hand. Herman inside the clinch dirty boxing drives a right hand hard into the jaw of Credeur as he pulls his head down. As Credeur crumbles to the mat, Herman follows up with a barrage of punches to finish the job. Referee Herb Dean has seen enough and stops the fight.

ROUND 1 - Both fighters standing orthodox. Two leg kicks from the outside on both sides from Kingsbury. They clinch and Kingsbury unloads with knees. Right hand from Maldonado clips Kingsbury, but Kingsbury nails Maldonado with a hard knee. In over pursuing a takedown, Kingsbury almost gets caught in guillotine, but they both stand in a scramble. Left hook twice now for Maldonado. Left and right hook combo from Maldonado finds the mark. Both fighters are trading punches, but Maldonado gets takedown down by Kingsbury off of an outside trip. Maldonado stands landing body shots, but Kingsbury buries a knee into Maldonado’s face.

ROUND 1 - Both fighters standing orthodox. O’Neil presses Cope back and they clinch against the cage. O’Neil doing all the stalking. Superman punch from Cope misses, but lands an outside leg kick. O’Neil returns the favor. Left hook for Cope finds the mark, but O’Neil finds a middle kick. Another left hook from Cope lands and he closes the distance. Hard outside leg kick from O’Neil. Left hook to the body from Cope, but O’Neil lands a right. They both exchange leg kicks. Spinning back kick from Cope and it lands. Hard middle kick from O’Neil before the rounds ends.

ROUND 1 - Both fighters standing orthodox. Grispi runs Roop down, drops for a takedown and gets it. Roop using farside wrist control to move to mount and now opposite side control. Grispi attemping a kimura, but abandons it and now drops down for a knee tap against the cage. Grispi attempts to the take back as Roop stands and ends up in mount as Roop takes evasive maneuvers. Roop continues to roll and now is standing again. And now the separate. Grispi coming in wild, but manages to secure the clinch. Roop and Grispi jockey for position along the cage. Grispi pulls guard and eats an elbow for his effort. Respectable effort on top from Roop to fire off ground and pound. Knee to the body from Roop to end the round.

ROUND 1 - Bailey comes out left handed, McGillivray orthodox. Bailey stalking and pressing forward with a ton of head movement. Timed off a punch, he double legs McGillivray to the floor. Ground and pound from Bailey as McGillivray tries to escape and stand. Into side control now for Bailey, close to the cage. As they stand from a failed D’arce attempt from McGillivray, Bailey drills the Canadian with hard knees. Bailey charging forward with punches, hitting nothing but air. Bailey punches forward and connects on a couple. McGillivray whizzers hard but ends up on his back, Bailey in side control. Left to the body, right to the head from Bailey. Uppercut from McGillivray, but Bailey grabs a single from it.

ROUND 1 - Both fighters standing orthodox. Edwards coming out strong and dives for a takedown. Harvison stops it and the two clinch along the fence. Sacrifice throw (lateral drop) from Edwards puts Harvison on the mat. Harvison escapes and the two resuming striking. Scoop single from Edwards puts Harvison back on the floor again. Harvison stands briefly, but Edwards drops levels and yanks Harvison’s legs out from under him. Harvison stands again and eats a knee from a front head lock by Edwards. Edwards eats a knee on a missed takedown, but resumes the approach and gets the takedown. Harvison gets his hips back and stands again, however. Missed head toss from results and Harvison’s bangs on him from on top. Edwards attempts a knee bar, but nothing doing. Edwards follows up and gets the takedown again. Harvison goes for an armbar by it was too high on Edwards’ elbow. Edwards attempts his own belly-down armbar, but can’t get it and Harvison is on top. Harvison jumps guillotine, but can’t get it. Edwards reverses as the round ends.

ROUND 1 - Stone standing southpaw, Jorgensen is orthodox. Right straight from Jorgensen sticks Stone. Another hard, short right from Jorgensen. Stone lands nice inside leg kick. Excellent middle kick and staggering inside leg kick from Stone, the two clinch against the fence. Jorgensen lands an elbow as they separate, but Stone’s right hand fins the mark with authority as he follows up. Body lock takedown from Jorgensen as they meet. Stone’s guard is in over drive working hard for triangle, but Jorgensen picks Stone up and slams him. Stone recaptures full guard, but Jorgensen’s HARD ground and pound puts Stone out cold. A right hand puts Stone to sleep.

ROUND 1 - Both fighters standing orthodox. Duran shoots in off a lazy jab, but Rivera yanks up an arm-in guillotine. It’s tight and Duran is struggling. Finally Duran escapes and is working from full guard. As they scramble to their feet, Rivera tries to sink in a standing guillotine, but loses it defending a takedown. The fighters continue to clinch battle, but not necessarily jockeying for position. Rivera attempts an outside trip, but it goes nowhere. They separate and Duran lands a hard right hand. Duran changes levels and scoop doubles Rivera to the mat. Now Duran jumps guillotine, but Rivera escapes. Rivera dropping big elbows on top as well a big punches while Duran tries for a triangle. Excellent first round.
