It's been a big day for former WEC featherweight and bantamweight contender Jeff Curran. Not only did reports surface he's making his return to the UFC (although not at lightweight), he's even got his first bantamweight opponent. MMA Junkie has the details:
UFC 137 Fight Card: Jeff Curran Vs. Scott Jorgensen Targeted, According To Report
Sources close to the event today told MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) that Curran (33-13-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) is set to meet onetime WEC title challenger and current UFC fighter Scott Jorgensen (12-4 MMA, 1-0 UFC) at UFC 137.
MMAFighting.com first reported the possibility of the matchup, which is scheduled for the bantamweight class.
As MMAjunkie.com first reported earlier today, Curran recently signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC for a possible fall debut.
