The boos for Kyle Busch were louder than the cheers for defending NASCAR champ Tony Stewart prior to Sunday’s Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix.

Busch earned the most attention from the crowd, even though he hasn’t done anything lately to rile fans.
Pole-sitter Mark Martin – who always gets a good reception in Phoenix – was third, edging Dale Earnhardt Jr. for a podium spot.
Matt Kenseth made a rare appearance in the top 10 after his Daytona 500 win, and Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh grabbed the final position, thanks to fans showering him with the “Suuuuuuh” chant.
