2013 Daytona 500, Budweiser Duel No. 2 results: Kyle Busch bests Kasey Kahne

Busch will take the fourth overall position at the Daytona 500.

Thanks to the help of a new teammate, Kyle Busch won the second Budweiser Duel at Daytona International Speedway, assuring himself of starting the Daytona 500 in the fourth position.

Busch latched onto the back bumper of Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Matt Kenseth late in the race and followed Kenseth’s No. 20 Toyota to the front, where Busch assumed the lead and then held off numerous challengers to secure the victory.

Kasey Kahne attempted to get by Busch on the final lap, but failed to do so and finished the qualifying race in second, followed by Austin Dillon in third. Clint Bowyer and Kenseth rounded out the top five.

Jeff Gordon had the dominate car for the first 40 laps, however, a speeding penalty during his pit stop put him back in the field and he finished 12th.
