Dwyane Wade was everywhere on Thursday night, but the New York Knicks put together a strong fourth quarter to come back and beat the Heat, 93-88
LeBron James, Dwyane Wade Have Forgettable Fourth Quarter In Miami Heat Loss
The numbers for LeBron James on Thursday night were bad enough, but even they don’t tell the whole story. James finished the game with 24 points on 7-24 shooting. Of those seven shots that went in, none came from further than about two feet from the basket. It wasn’t that his shot selection was terrible for the most part, he just couldn’t buy a bucket.
Observe, if you will, LeBron’s shot chart from the Heat-Knicks game.

Dwyane Wade had about as good a night as you can have on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden, but couldn’t walk away with a win. Playing with a migraine -- and the coolest shades this side of Horace Grant -- Wade had 34 points and a 16 rebounds, but the Miami Heat fell flat down the stretch. In the fourth quarter, the Heat settled for poor, contested shots early in the shot clock as the New York Knicks put together a run created with crisp ball movement to create wide-open looks.
That strong fourth quarter, in which the Knicks outscored the Heat 29-15, allowed New York to come from behind and pull out a 93-88 win. Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without a few big shots down the stretch, provided by Danilo Gallinari and Landry Fields. The two connected from deep on back-to-back possessions, turning a one-point deficit into a five-point lead with just over a minute to go.

He’s made seven field goals in this period, with the only other two Heat scores from the field coming off Wade assists. At one point he went on a 6-0 run all by himself. Might be time for everybody to make “Might be time for Dwyane Wade to wear those glasses every night!” jokes.
