Both the Knicks and Grizzlies have been hot since the All-Star break. Who will keep it going tonight?

    Knicks Vs. Grizzlies Score: Amare Stoudemire, Knicks Lead Grizzlies 96-82 After Three

    The Knicks used some more solid shooting and a zone defense to outscore the Grizzlies by six in the third period and extend their lead to 96-82. It isn’t just Carmelo Anthony and Amare Stoudemire hurting the Grizzlies now as Toney Douglas has 18 points and seven assists, Landry Fields has 14 points, and Roger Mason has 11 points off the bench.

    Tony Allen and Mike Conley are doing all they can to keep Memphis in the game with 22 and 16 points respectively. While Memphis is shooting over 50% from the field for the game, they haven’t been able to match New York’s 60% shooting. The Knicks are also 12-22 from three-point range while Memphis has attempted just five shots from beyond the arc.

    Knicks Vs. Grizzlies Score: Carmelo Anthony Scores 20, New York Leads 61-53 At Half

    Carmelo Anthony scored 20 points and Amare Stoudemire added 16 while leading the Knicks to a 61-53 halftime lead over the Memphis Grizzlies. The Knicks are shooting 60% from the field and 61% from the three-point range. The only reason the game is this close is due to Memphis proficiency at forcing turnovers and turning them into points. The Knicks committed 10 turnovers in the first half which led to 18 points for the Grizzlies.

    The real story from the first half is Stoudemire and Anthony combining to go 16-25 from the floor for 36 points, and seven assists. As a team, New York has recorded 17 assists in the first half which is a testament to how free-flowing their offense is right now. They are sharing the ball and knocking down opportunities from all over the floor.

    Knicks Vs. Grizzlies Score: Carmelo Anthony Leads Knicks To Early 30-27 Lead

    Carmelo Anthony scored 12 points and handed out four assists in the opening period helping stake the New York Knicks to an early 30-27 lead over the Memphis Grizzlies. The Knicks shot a red-hot 62% in the opening period while connecting on their first four three-point attempts.

    Toney Douglas added eight points and Amare Stoudemire had six for the Knicks. Marc Gasol led the way for the Grizzlies with six points in the opening quarter.
