LeBron James has owned Philips Arena of late, scoring 43 points in the Miami Heat’s last road game against the Atlanta Hawks. Tonight he’s on pace for an even bigger sum, posting 12 in the first quarter, though he’s not likely to play the entire game if this one starts getting lopsided. Miami leads 28-21 at the end of the period.

Atlanta’s also not likely to play their starters much longer. Josh Smith is back on the court after missing a handful of contests due to injury, securing four offensive rebounds in 10 minutes.
Dwyane Wade has only attempted four shots so far, hitting half of them to help the Heat shoot 60 percent early on. Actually, he’s hurting their shooting percentage right now. Step it up, Dwyane.
