Boston Celtics coach Doc Rivers says he has a feeling Rajon Rondo will play in Game 4 against the Miami Heat despite that hideous dislocated elbow. The point guard underwent "an MRI and light treatment" Sunday morning, enduring more pain and swelling from the night before, when he himself attributed his resilience to his in-game adrenaline.
Rajon Rondo Injury: Doc Rivers Optimistic About Game 4
Rivers added that he hopes to know more about the status of Rondo, Deltone West and Shaquille O’Neal later Sunday:
No. 1, we're not going to hurt the player and we're not going to do anything to hurt the team. It may not be until game time and the game until we find that out. Right now, that may be the case. I am optimstic about both, that they're going to play.
