A rematch between D.C.‘s Goodman League and Los Angeles’ Drew League remains in the works, but the planning of the event is going slowly. After Washington D.C. hosted “Capital Punishment,” the Drew League is hoping to plan an event out in Los Angeles that would take place in a bigger arena and with more sponsors. The event was originally planned for September 10, but the Drew League announced it would need to push that date back.

Due to a surge of interest, the organizers for the summer-league showdown between Washington D.C.‘s Goodman League and Los Angeles’ Drew League has switched venues already. The game, originally scheduled to be played at McDonough Gymnasium at Georgetown University, will be moved to Calvin Coolidge High School, a larger venue.
McDonough seats just 2,500 people, while Coolidge’s gym seats 5,000, according to event organizers. The game will also be streamed live on TheBasketballChannel.net.
