The news doesn’t come as much of a shock, considering what was being reported after the incident. Stoudemire was seen leaving American Airlines Arena with his arm in a sling and his hand heavily bandaged. The forward refused to speak to media afterwards, but took to Twitter early Tuesday morning to apologize to fans.
The Knicks are looking to snap a 12-game playoff losing streak extending back to the 2000-01 season. Game 3 will tip off Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. ET at Madison Square Garden.
