Amar’e Stoudemire Injury Update: Knicks Star’s Hand Was In Bad Shape On Monday
“Half of his hand was just hanging off. It was really bad. Blood was just squirting out. That’s why they had the paramedics come in, because they thought he might have punctured an artery because of how much blood was coming out.”
Stoudemire had surgery on Tuesday to fix a “small muscle” in his hand, and he is expected to miss the rest of the series. The good news is that it appears he should make a full recovery following the surgery. It could have been much worse.
