The Milwaukee County District Attorney will not pursue charges against anyone in a bar altercation that involved Bucks center Larry Sanders.

The 6’11 shotblocking center, who has been out of action since Nov. 3, signed a four-year, $44 million contract extension this summer, but he found himself in the headlines prior to his legal incident -- Sanders was charged with two civil citations but had criminal charges against him dropped. Sanders publicly voiced displeasure about how coach Larry Drew was utilizing him.

Benny Sieu-USA TODAY SportsAlthough criminal charges were dropped against Sanders for his involvement in the bar fight, WISN was first to report on Wednesday that the Bucks center will be cited for assault and battery and disorderly conduct, both of which are municipal charges.
Sanders was accused of breaking bottles over the heads of two men and also throwing punches, but the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office initially said that, after a police investigation, it was unclear who started the fight and how it began.

“We are aware of an incident from Saturday evening,” the Bucks said in a release. “The matter is under investigation and Larry Sanders is cooperating fully. At this time we will have no further comment.”
