The Kentucky Wildcats are beginning to make a run in the second half against the Alabama Crimson Tide, cutting a lead that’s been as high as 16 to nine points with just under eight minutes to go. Down but not out, Kentucky made a 7-0 run triggered by strong defense, forcing Alabama into errors. Freshman Terrence Jones has the Wildcats last three points, all on free throws.

Doron Lamb still leads Kentucky with 14 points, though he has some help now. Joining Lamb in double-figures are Darius Miller and Jones, with 10 and 11 points respectively. Jones also has six rebounds, three blocks and two steals for Kentucky.
JaMychal Green is leading the way for Alabama with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Tony Mitchell has 13 points and six rebounds for the Crimson Tide. Alabama is still shooting well from the field, hitting at a 48 percent clip overall and 53 percent from three-point range.
