Stanford is up 14-0 on Arizona, and that may actually be enough to win this game.
Stanford Vs. Arizona: Cardinal Score Again, Now Up 14-0 On Arizona
This touchdown came on a grinding drive of 14 plays and 89 yards. Stepfan Taylor punched in the score from two yards out to give the Cardinal on a two-touchdown advantage.
Stanford’s been both balanced and unstoppable to this point. The Cardinal have 222 yards on just 25 plays, an average of 8.88 yards per snap. That’s also far better than Arizona’s offense has been able to muster.
The Wildcats had just 65 total yards — less than either of Stanford’s scoring drives — and have just one third down conversion. Nick Foles is in the game and seems healthy enough to make plays with his arm, but he hasn’t been able to make much happen so far. If he doesn’t get things going, and soon, the Wildcats may be in a hole they can’t get out of before halftime.
