Stanford Vs. Arizona: With Fourth Touchdown, The Rout Is On For Stanford

The rout is on in Palo Alto.

Andrew Luck threw a five-yard pass to Tyler Gaffney for his second touchdown of the night, and Stanford leads Arizona 28-3 midway through the third quarter.

The Cardinal have been the comprehensively better team all night. Even slowed from its very early pace, the offense is averaging 7.5 yards per play, and the defense has held Arizona under 200 total yards. Nick Foles has struggled, and his inaccuracy plus the sure tackling from the Stanford defenders has shut down Arizona’s short passing game for the most part.
