Oklahoma State Vs. Texas Score: Longhorns Tie Game Following Botched Punt Return

The Oklahoma State Cowboys started out solid in their bid to beat the Texas Longhorns for the second straight season. as the Okie State offense hung seven points on the scoreboard and the team's defense forced a punt, an interception and a turnover on downs to cause the Longhorns to go scoreless in the first quarter of Saturday afternoon's game. The second quarter started out a bit better for the Longhorns, however, and the teams are currently tied at seven points apiece.

Oklahoma State's touchdown came on a five-play, 64-yard drive capped off by a Joseph Randle run. The running back has rushed five times for 25 yards thus far as the passing attack hasn't quite got underway thanks to just five first quarter passes being thrown by quarterback Brandon Weeden.

The Longhorns answered back in the second quarter when running back Malcolm Brown found his way into the end zone on a 15-yard run. The Longhorns originally were forced to punt on fourth-and-28, but when an Oklahoma State upback touched the ball, the Longhorns recovered and Brown did the rest.

This game may get interesting now as the Cowboys seem to be giving the Longhorns every opportunity to pull off the upset.
