The top-ranked teams in the AP and Coaches Polls took care of business on Saturday, handling their business convincingly along the way. The marquee matchups of the evening -- Alabama vs. Florida and Wisconsin vs. Nebraska -- weren’t close at all, with the Crimson Tide and Badgers each pounding a worthy foe to cap the night.

Will Alabama move up with a resume-building win? How far will Wisconsin rise with a big win over Nebraska? We’ll find all that out and more on Sunday morning as the newest polls are released.

This week’s F/+ picks at Football Study Hall feature some interesting but (seemingly) sensible choices: Texas A&M over Arkansas by 3.6? Okay, that’s possible. Alabama over Florida by 11.5? Most Florida fans would acknowledge that as a possibility. Ohio State over Michigan State by 3.2? The numbers agree with Vegas on that one. Wisconsin by 4.2? Okay, sure.

Wait, what’s that? The pick is actually Wisconsin by 24.2? No. 7 is supposed to completely demolish No. 8? How is this possible? Easy: only one of the teams playing at Camp Randall on Saturday night has performed anywhere close to a Top 10 level.

On the surface, that 10 point line looks a little crazy, despite Nebraska’s questionable defense. Though, Wisconsin’s D isn’t that great either. Could a Big Ten game at Camp Randall end up being *gasp* a shootout? Surely they don’t allow these kinds of things in the upper midwest.
