The marquee matchups of the evening -- Alabama vs. Florida and Wisconsin vs. Nebraska -- weren’t close at all, with the Crimson Tide and Badgers each pounding a worthy foe to cap the night.

In more important news: Brantley was injured on the next play, apparently suffering a knee. He left the game, leaving true freshman Jeff Driskel as the only Gators option.

Immediately, Brantley clutched his right knee, staying down on the ground for quite some time before trainers picked him up to help him off the field. Brantley headed straight to the locker room -- halftime was only seconds away -- but was barely able to put weight on his right leg, eventually just holding it in the air while using the trainers as a crutch.
