Scoring is definitely not a problem for either the Baylor Bears or the TCU Horned Frogs, but this back-and-forth scoring has certainly been a surprise. The Bears can thank wide receiver Kendall Wright for that, as he has been involved in all three Baylor touchdowns. On his latest one, Wright caught a 28-yard touchdown pass from Robert Griffin III.
TCU Vs. Baylor Score: Kendall Wright Impressive For Baylor, But TCU Leads, 23-21
Wright started the scoring with a 40-yard touchdown pass to Terrance Williams in the opening minutes of the game and followed that with a 35-yard touchdown reception toward the end of the first quarter. TCU head coach Gary Patterson certainly wasn't expecting his defense to allow this many points this early.
However, TCU quarterback Casey Pachall answered right back with a four-play, 60-yard drive that resulted in a 23-yard pass to Logan Brock. The Horned Frogs, who had added a field goal at the end of the first quarter, lead the Bears, 23-21, after the fifth lead change of the game.
