It was an offensive explosion in the first half between the Baylor Bears and the TCU Horned Frogs. The Bears have surprised all as they lead the Horned Frogs at halftime, 34-23. The two teams have combined for a 57 points and 570 yards of total yards so far.
TCU Vs. Baylor Score: Robert Griffin, Kendall Wright Lead Baylor To 34-23 At Halftime
Baylor started the scoring with a wide receiver pass from Kendall Wright to Terrance Williams in the opening minutes of the game. But ever since then it's been a battle to change the lead. There have been six lead changes so far. However, the Bears have scored the last two touchdowns to reach an 11-point lead.
Wright has been the offensive MVP of the game with nine receptions for 168 yards and two touchdowns. That's in addition to the 40-yard touchdown pass he threw to start the game. Quarterback Robert Griffin III has three touchdown passes and 209 yards in the air.
One of the more amusing events in the first half was when TCU’s offensive line committed a false start. The referee announced a false start penalty on “everyone but the center.”
According to Sports Illustrated’s Stewart Mandel, Baylor is just 3-51 against ranked teams since the beginning of the Big 12. If Baylor can pull off the upset over No. 14 TCU, this will be their first win over a ranked team since 2004.
