New Maryland defensive coordinator Brian Stewart is installing a 3-4 defense, making the Terps one of just a handful of teams to run a three-lineman attack. And with Pitt and possibly West Virginia switching to 4-3 schemes, Maryland could be the only non-service academy in its recruiting vicinity in need of nose tackles and other 3-4 specifics.
