Mack Brown said that the three Texas players who were arrested Sunday will receive some sort of discipline.
3 Arrested Texas Players Face Discipline, Says Mack Brown
The players - safety Kenny Vaccaro, defensive end Alex Okafor, and tight end Barrett Matthews - were asked to leave a downtown pizzeria but refused. They had earlier been denied entrance to a bar. When someone said that a member of the trio had threatened them, the police became involved, and the players' failure to leave resulted in all three being charged with "failure to obey a lawful order," a misdemeanor that carries a $500 fine. Not exactly the most vicious crime -- remember, two Arkansas players were charged with nine counts of felony burglary in the past few days -- but Brown insisted that their behavior would be punished.
Brown did not specify what would happen to the three players, but said at a charity event Thursday that they would be disciplined.
