Starting to wonder if Singing Arkansas Lady’s pep level is inversely proportionate to how Arkansas football is actually doing, as if maybe her powers only get stronger as the Razorbacks fade, like those superheroes who get invincible whenever they’re hit with nuclear bombs (that’s all superheroes). 52-0 counts as a nuking, so evidently the answer is yes. It’s Monday, people! Unfreeze your urine!

No. 1 Alabama laid a whupping on Arkansas in Fayetteville Saturday afternoon. The Razorbacks couldn’t afford a whole lot of mistakes playing without starting quarterback Tyler Wilson, and they goofed a bunch, early and often.
The Crimson Tide outgained Arkansas 441-171, and made 27 first downs to the Razorbacks’ 12. The Alabama defense turned over Arkansas three times.

What was expected to be a top-ten clash will now also likely be without one-time Heisman hopeful Tyler Wilson, who was battered last week by the Warhawks. Wilson took a number of shots, but was knocked out with a blow to the head when he was planted on the turf in Little Rock. He did not practice all week and has been reportedly ruled out for the game against the No. 1 Crimson Tide.
