Welcome back to another year of the SB Nation Community Mock Draft!
NFL mock draft 2026: Titans select Jeremiyah Love, RB , Notre Dame
The first running back comes off the board early in our annual SB Nation NFL community mock draft.

As we do every draft season, all 32 NFL sites at SB Nation come together to fill out an entire first-round mock draft leading up to the actual event that takes place from April 23-25. One by one, our site managers will make their picks and provide their reasoning behind the selection. From there, I will provide further analysis on top of giving a final opinion on the pick!
Without further ado, let’s get’s things rolling!

SB Nation NFL Mock Draft: With the 4th pick the Tennessee Titans select…
Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame
Is number 4 overall too early for a running back? Not in this draft. The Titans would love to see David Bailey fall to this spot, but he went off the board third to the Arizona Cardinals. With him gone, the Titans add arguably the best player in this draft with Love. Having an explosive running game will take some of the pressure off second-year quarterback Cam Ward. Love is also dynamic as a receiver, and the Titans desperately need weapons on offense.
My analysis: There’s been a lot of debate about positonal value and whether Love is truly worth a selection in the top 10 of this year’s draft. Well, it looks like Morris doesn’t just think he’s worth a selection that high; he’s taking it even further and showing just how much the Titans value Love by making him the fourth pick in the entire draft.
Love is the best running back in this class by far. He was uber-productive for the Irish and his skillset will fit any offensive system at the next level. An underrated part of what you’re getting in Love is also the lack of tread on his tires. He wasn’t the full-time starter until 2024 and he still left some carries to backup Jadarian Price. The Titans can be confident in this pick knowing that the shelf life of this running back won’t be coming to an end anytime soon and if all things go well, Love will be the next great back to wear the team’s colors.
