Titans Retain Possession After Vince Young Fumble, But Lose Starter

Vince Young left the Monday night game with an injury sustained recovering a fumbled snap on the Titans’ second offensive drive. It was an added shame as Young had gotten off to a great start to the game, completing three of four passes for 61 yards and a touchdown on the opening drive of the game.

Kerry Collins came in and completed two of three passes on the drive for 31 yards before the Jaguars forced a punt.

Jacksonville could use the early boost. Besides their defense continuing its habit of giving up an NFL-high of plays that go for 20 or more yards, the offense is struggling as well. The Jaguars got a first down via penalty on their first drive, but that was it before a punt.
