Titans Vs. Chargers: Nate Washington TD Cuts Chargers Lead To 27-25
Young was incomplete on the two-point conversion attempt, however, meaning that the Chargers retain a 27-25 lead with just under 12 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
Tennessee’s quick-strike score not only kept the visiting Titans within arm’s reach of a clutch road win, it also ended a streak of 20 unanswered San Diego points after Tennessee opened up a 19-7 lead in the second quarter.
Young now has 253 passing yards and two touchdowns on the day, while Washington has three receptions for 113 yards and the score.
Philip Rivers - who is having an excellent outing considering how depleted his offensive arsenal is - now takes over with a slim lead and his 2-5 team’s hopes for a miracle playoff berth on thin ice.
